MEL meet Davis vs Will C. Wood Wednesday, September 21, 2005 Davis Community Park Davis High cross country easily handled an undermanned squad from Will C. Wood High School in MEL competition on Wednesday. The varsity boys scored a perfect 15 points, sweeping the top six spots. The varsity girls were nearly perfect as well, scoring 16 points, taking five of the top six places. The frosh/soph boys and girls were both victorious as well, as Wood was unable to field any runners in either race. The Blue Devils compete next at the Stanford Invitational this Saturday, facing many of the top ranked teams from California and the western United States.
