October 28, 2006 Willow Hills at Folsom High School Davis High cross country concluded league competition Saturday at the Delta Valley Conference Championships at Folsom High School. DHS captured three league titles - varsity girls, frosh/soph girls, frosh/soph boys, and took second for varsity boys. The varsity girls dominated the championship meet, sweeping the first ten places. All ten girls earned All Delta Valley Conference honors. All Conference: Chelsea Reilly, Laurynne Chetelat, Emily Dimond, Allison Manderfield, Maddie Hall, Jenna Fritz, Nora Norvell, Jonah Weeks, Rebecca Woo, Halea Meese The varsity boys needed a win in the championship meet and help from Kennedy High or Franklin High as they entered the championship meet three points behind Elk Grove. Despite a convincing win by the DHS boys in the championship race, Elk Grove withstood the challenge from their rivals to take the second spot in team scoring which was good enough to secure the overall league title. DHS boys earned five All Delta Valley Conference honors. All Conference: Brendan Gregg, Patrick Lynch, Kenny Durell, Matt Petersen, Zach Bonner Davis High had four individual league champions. Chelsea Reilly and Brendan Gregg were league champions at the varsity level. Christina Chew and Antoine Koehl won their frosh/soph races.
