Lagoon Valley Classic Vacaville CA 9-13-03 Davis High cross country teams competed Saturday at Vacaville’s Lagoon Valley Classic. High temperatures, large clouds of windblown dust, and steep hills made for some of the most extreme racing conditions in years. In varsity competition, Kaitlin Gregg was the top Blue Devil, finishing in 4th place. Thad Sieracki led the varsity boys, taking 14th place in his race. The frosh/soph boys and JV girls both captured team titles and the frosh/soph girls were third in team competition. Brendan Gregg, Scott Halliday, and Patrick Lynch had top twenty finishes for the frosh/soph boys. Lauren Seabury and Andrea Liou were 2nd and 7th for the JV girls. Grace Pettygrove paced the frosh/soph girls with a 12th place finish.
