57 runners competed in 7 different races - most ever from one school in SJS history!
DHS was the only school from Divisions 1 and 2 to qualify complete squads in all 7 Divsions.
Varsity Boys and Girls qualify for CIF State Cross Country Championships on November 24.
Varsity Girls end regular season ranked 5th in California Division 1
Varsity Boys 1st - Jack Scranton individual champion
JV Boys 2nd - John Testerman 2nd place, Alex Arnheiter 4th place
Sophomore Boys 3rd - Blake Croft individual champion, Charlie Harris 2nd place

Fabulous day at the Sub-Section Championships!
106 Davis High runners competed at the meet - far and away the largest team
in the Sac-Joaquin Section (190 schools) and the most ever competing for DHS!
57 runners and all 7 division teams qualified for the Section Championships next Saturday.
Team Summary: Frosh boys 2nd, Soph boys 4th, Frosh-Soph girls 1st,
JV boys 2nd, JV girls 2nd, Varsity girls 4th, Varsity boys 9th.
Individual Summary: Kellen Browning 1st Frosh boys race, Blake Croft 1st and
Charlie Harris 3rd in Soph boys race, Claire Dicker 2nd and Jasmine Casillas 5th
in Frosh-Soph girls race, John Testerman 3rd and Alex Arnheiter 4th in JV boys race,

1:00 pm dismissal for Junior High Schools and Da Vinci
1:15 pm dismissal for Davis High
1:30 pm buses depart from Davis High New Gym parking lot (off of Oak St. south of football field)

Davis High Cross Country season begins Monday, August 13.
All team members are expected to attend all practices beginning August 13.
Practice time will be 6:30pm-8:30pm August 13-17.
Camp will be Saturday through Tuesday, August 18-21.
Beginning Wednesday, August 22, practice will be every day from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
Practice will be at the Community Pool Solar Panels just south of Community Pool.
