July 12, 2008 from 8:30 am to 12:00 Noon
Sutter West Family Medicine - 2030 Sutter Place
Sutter West Family Practice will be offering sports physicals for
all 7th grade through 12th grade students in the Davis Joint Unified
School District. This is a fundraiser for the Athletic Department at DHS.
The cost is $30.00
Packets will be available at the High School, Emerson, Harper and Holmes.
All paperwork must be complete and a parent/guardian signature is required.
Laurynne Chetelat wins 3000 meters at USA JR National Track Championships.
She qualifies to represent the USA at the World JR Championships in Poland, July 8-13.

First time ever that two girls run sub 10 minutes for 3200 meters in the same race!
The DHS girls 4x400 Relay finishes 17th overall and runs a season best 3:58.36.

Scott Bauhs Running blog
Sarah West is an alum of Davis High and UCLA. Currently, she is serving in the Peace Corps
in Honduras. Sarah is the former DHS school record holder for 800, 1600, and 3200 meters.
Sarah was also an assistant coach for DHS cross country last fall.
Scott Bauhs graduated from San Ramon Valley High School and is a student/athlete at
CSU Chico. He is the defending NCAA Division 2 champion for 10,000 meters and
recently placed placed 52nd (4th for Team USA) at the World Cross Country Championships.
Scott is a great example of how big dreams and hard work brings great rewards.
